Manhattan is the business and financial center of New York City. It also happens to be the center of tourism with various attractions and landmarks located inside. Many of New York City’s skyscrapers are located inside Manhattan. Although it is the smallest borough in New York City, Manhattan happens to be the most densely populated borough. Manhattan happens to be New York City’s smallest borough at 13.4 miles long and 2.3 miles wide. Manhattan is the business and financial center of New York City.

Tourism and Manhattan

Manhattan also happens to be the center of tourism with various attractions and landmarks located inside. Manhattan is a major cultural, tourism, commercial and financial center of the U.S.A. Many media publishers are located inside Manhattan. This includes television shows, news, book, magazine and other media.

Getting Around Manhattan

Manhattan has avenues that run north and south while its streets run east and west. Traffic generally travels one way on many streets, with traffic going east on even-numbered streets and west on odd-numbered streets. Manhattan’s east side and west side are divided by Fifth Avenue. Street addresses increase with their distance from Fifth Avenue, usually by 100 per block. Twenty north-south blocks are equal to a mile.

Manhattan’s Attractions and Landmarks

Many of New York City’s most popular attractions and landmarks can be found in Manhattan. This includes popular attractions like the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park. Manhattan also happens to be the home of the United Nations.
