Exhibition Place is Toronto’s 192 acre parkland located along the shores of Lake Ontario, several minutes from downtown Toronto. The venue offers convention, exhibition and conference venues, restaurants, nightclubs, sporting facilities and other attractions. Exhibition Place is often used for sporting events, festivals, recreational, cultural and tourism events.
Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)
Every year, From mid-August through Labour Day, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), from which the name Exhibition Place is derived, is held on at Exhibition Place. During the CNE, Exhibition Place encompasses 260 acres (1.1 km2), expanding to include nearby parks and parking lots. The CNE features games and a midway, among a host of attractions. The fair is one of the largest and most successful of its kind in North America, and an important part of the culture of Toronto, the province, and the nation itself.

There are over one hundred special events and trade shows held at exhibition Place annually. Every year, Exhibition Place attracts over 4.5 million visitors. Some of the popular events held at Exhibition Place include the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Caribanna Parade and the Honda Indy Toronto.

Popular venues within Exhibition Place include:
- BMO Field, home to Canada’s National Soccer Team as well as Toronto FC
- AllStream Centre, which is targeted to be Canada’s first LEED Silver conference centre
- Digital Energy centre, an award-winning convention and exhibition centre that offers over a million square feet of space
- Queen Elizabeth Building, a venue for trade shows and festivals
- Bandshell Park, a large park with plenty of green space.
Getting to Exhibition Place
Exhibition Place is close to many of Toronto’s top attractions. Must-see Toronto attractions such as the world-famous CN Tower, the Rogers Centre (formerly Skydome – home to the Toronto Blue Jays) and the Air Canada Centre (home to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors) are only a ten minute drive from Exhibition Place. It is accessible by both public transit and GO commuter transit.
