Each year, Luminothérapie turns Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles into a fantastic art show that invites people of all ages to enjoy an interactive experience in a playful and festive winter setting. Luminothérapie is Quebec’s largest competition for temporary installations. Its mission is to present an original interactive winter experience for visitors to the Quartier des Spectacles and to stimulate creative activity in urban installations and digital art.

Luminothérapie is a competitions in which artists create artistic experiences that give pleasure and capture the imagination. These works of art are sensory, poetic, emotional and intellectual experiences that awe and inspire.

Luminothérapie takes place in Winter, usually from December to January. The mandate of this artistic creation is to create a unified Luminothérapie concept, as well as a complementary to the large-scale installation. They also had to offer visitors a meaningful sound-and-light experience day or night, be meaningful in both content and artistic approach, and encourage people of all ages to participate. Every year since 2010.
