The Toronto Ferry is mostly used to connect the city of Toronto to the Toronto Islands. Once you board a ferry, you can chose to go to any one of the popular Toronto Islands, which includes Hanlan’s Point, Centre Island or Ward’s Island. Ferries are the only way to visit the Toronto Islands. The Toronto Ferry is operated by the city of Toronto.
Toronto Ferry Fares
The current fares for the ferry are listed below. Fares include return – you pay only leaving the city:
- Adults $6.00
- Students and Seniors $3.50
- (under 19 with Student Card and over 65)
- Juniors (under 14) $2.50
- Children (under 2) Free
Where to take Toronto Ferry
Ferry docks are located at Queens Quay, which is at the foot of Bay Street. There is usually a ferry every 30 minutes but departure times vary depending on the season and the weather. Tickets can be purchased upon boarding the boat.
