Sitting outside the hurricane belt, the islands generally don’t experience severe hurricanes and storms like other Caribbean islands in the north.

Because of Trinidad and Tobago’s southerly location, temperatures stay constant year-round. Its average daily temperature is 27C (80F). Average humidity hovers around 75%. There really only 2 seasons in Trinidad and Tobago: the rainy season (June to November) and the dry season (December to May). The high season is January to March, with a noticeable peak in February when Carnival draws plenty of visitors and the cost of hotel room prices skyrocket. Therefore, booking ahead is essential during this period.
