The Melbourne Art Fair, the flagship event of Melbourne Art Week, showcases thousands of contemporary artworks including paintings, sculpture, photography, installations and multi-media works by emerging and celebrated contemporary artists, presented by 80 leading national and international galleries from all states and around the world. The biennial event features paintings, sculpture, photography, installation and multi media art works of over 900 artists and attracts up to 30,000 visitors.

Melbourne Art Foundation attracts participation from Australian galleries from all States and Territories, as well as internationally, including from New Zealand, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Canada, America and Europe during the 4-day event.
