The system is available 24 hours a day, and during nights, limited routes are operated with different routes. With over 140 routes in operation, Toronto&#8217;s bus system attracts over 400 million riders each year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Bus Routes in Toronto<\/h2>\r\n<p>The city of Toronto has regular bus routes, all night bus routes, community bus routes and downtown express bus routes.  Some routes are 24 hour service and some run as frequently as every 5-15 minutes.  Information on specific routes and holiday service can be obtained from TTC Information at 416-393-4636 or on their website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ttc.ca\">www.ttc.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Express Bus Routes in Toronto<\/h2>\r\n<p>Some of Toronto\u2019s bus routes are <strong>EXPRESS buses<\/strong> that do not stop off at every stop, so be careful when boarding the bus. Any bus with a route number, followed by the letter \u201cE\u201d is an express route. Route numbers followed by \u201cD\u201d and \u201cF\u201d are other types of expresss routes with different branches.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>The Third Largest System in North America<\/h2>\r\n<p>The city of Toronto has one of the largest bus systems in North America.
