Brookfield Place<\/strong> (formerly BCE Place<\/strong>) is one of Toronto’s most iconic office buildings. The complex contains 242,000 square metres (2,604,866 sq ft) of office space, and consists of two towers, the Bay Wellington Tower and the TD Canada Trust Tower, linked by the six-storey Allen Lambert Galleria. It is also the home of the Hockey Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Visiting the Brookfield Place<\/h2>\r\n

Home to some of the world\u2019s most prestigious financial and legal firms, and the corporate headquarters of many preeminent Canadian corporations, the 2.6 million square foot complex fosters business and commerce of global significance. Brookfield Place also stands as a prized example of Toronto\u2019s cultural development and community spirit. Visited by millions of people each year, Brookfield Place is also home to the Hockey Hall of Fame and some of Toronto\u2019s most popular dining, shopping and lifestyle destinations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Shopping and Dining at Brookfield Place<\/h2>\r\n

The Concourse Level at Brookfield Place showcases a myriad of specialty shops, retail services, fast food eateries, and casual restaurants. More dining options can be found on the Ground Level, as well as luxury jewellery, designer men\u2019s fashions and chic amenities for business, pleasure and well being.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Brookfield Place’s Allen Lambert Galleria<\/h2>\r\n

The Allen Lambert Galleria<\/strong>, sometimes described as the “crystal cathedral of commerce”, is an atrium designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava which connects Bay Street with Heritage Square. The Galleria was designed by Santiago Caltrava and actually serves to connect to two main office towers of the complex. Also of interest with Brookfield Place is the manner in which they incorporated the facades of several 1850’s building into the design of the overall structure. It has been superbly done.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Getting to Brookfield Place<\/h2>\r\n

Brookfield Place is located at the corner of Yonge st and Front st.\r\nThis is one of the more stunning open spaces in all of Toronto with high butresses soaring 85 feet overhead. The place seems more like a cathedral than a commercial office complex.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
