The HHOF is home to the world\u2019s largest collection of hockey memorabilia and a definite must-see for anyone who is a fan of the <strong>National Hockey League<\/strong> (NHL). There are many pieces of history on display, covering the complete history of hockey in North America. Located on Yonge Street, the Hockey Hall of Fame opened its doors to the public in 1993.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Activities at the Hockey Hall of Fame<\/h2>\r\n<p>Located inside the restored Bank of Montreal building, the Hockey Hall of Fame contains 57,000 square feet of interactive games and the best collection of hockey artifacts from around the world. Fans can easily spend half a day marveling at the impressive collection of items while reading the various historical footnotes. There is something for everyone at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Activities range from interactive games for kids to getting the opportunity to do the commentary on actual NHL game action. There are also special sections on the greatest players and teams of all time. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>The Great Hall at the HHOF<\/h2>\r\n<p>The Great Hall is the Hockey Hall of Fame\u2019s most popular attraction. Considered by many to be one of the most spectacular rooms in the Hockey Hall of Fame, it houses all of the National Hockey League (NHL) trophies, including the historical <strong>Stanley Cup<\/strong>. The Great Hall also contains memorabilia from hockey greats like Mike Bossy, Bobby Clarke, Paul Coffey, Ken Dryden, Phil and Tony Esposito, Grant Fuhr, Wayne Gretzky, Tim Horton, Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Guy Lafleur and Mario Lemieux.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Other Activities at the Hockey Hall of Fame<\/h2>\r\n<p>Other activities at the HHOF include the Broadcast Zone, a unique experience where you watch a replay of a great hockey moment and get to add your own play by play announcement. You can also participate in a shooting game in which you try to score on an electronic goaltender and another game where you are the goaltender.
