Manhattan <\/strong>is the business and financial center of New York City. It also happens to be the center of tourism with various attractions and landmarks located inside. Manhattan happens to be New York City’s smallest borough at 13.4 miles long and 2.3 miles wide. Getting Around Manhattan<\/h2>\r\n

Manhattan has avenues that run north and south while its streets run east and west. Traffic generally travels one way on many streets, with traffic going east on even-numbered streets and west on odd-numbered streets. Manhattan’s east side and west side are divided by Fifth Avenue<\/a>. Street addresses increase with their distance from Fifth Avenue<\/a>, usually by 100 per block.
