Let the entertainment begin at the Montreal Quartier des Spectacles<\/strong>. The Quartier des Spectacles is French for Entertainment District. It is Montreal’s cultural heart, boasting North America’s most concentrated and diverse group of cultural venues. The district is the year-round host to countless festivals and events, many of which include free outdoor shows and activities. The Quartier also hosts innovative urban installations involving cutting-edge lighting design, immersive environments or interactive digital spaces.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Quartier des Spectacles is a one square kilometer area that is bounded by City Councillors, Sherbrooke and Berri streets along with Renée-Lévesque Boulevard. This is where many of Montreal’s largest international festivals are held. It is also the heart of Montreal's vibrant tourism industry.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

With some 40 events and festivals held annually, the Quartier is a 4-season destination offering a wealth of fun and discovery during any season.
