Les FrancoFolies de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> is a music festival that brings together all the best artists that the francophone world and world music have to offer. This annual summer festival features performances by Francophone artists from various musical backgrounds and nationalities. The festival includes well-known and established artists, current favorites, and rising stars. Many free performances are offered and some paid performances as well.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Established in 1989, Les FrancoFolies de Montr\u00e9al has become one of the most popular French festivals in the world. The primary focus of this festival is popular music performed in French or by artists from the French-speaking world. This unique event is widely considered to be the most comprehensive French music festival in the world, offering a diverse mixture of French music from Canadian and International artists.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Every popular music style is covered in this festival. Rock, pop, hip-hop, chanson, rai, folk, punk are only some of the musical styles that you will hear during the Francofolies. Many of the performances are free to the public and are held throughout the Quartier des Spectacles<\/a> in Place des Arts.
